2. Message Clearing & User Control
In Global Wire v5.7, the "Clear Entire Chat" functionality provides instant data removal for your account. When triggered, the repository updates local memory caches and Firebase timestamp markers simultaneously, wiping past message history from your screen immediately without residual copies.
3. Biometric & Device Security
When enabling the App Lock Vault (Fingerprint, Face Biometrics, PIN, or Pattern), biometric verification takes place entirely on your local device via Android Keystore APIs. Your biometric templates never leave your hardware and are never transmitted to our servers.
4. Strict 18+ Age Verification & Minor Protection
Global Wire is strictly designated for adult individuals aged 18 years or older. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), international privacy laws, and Google Play Child Safety Standards:
- Interactive Age Gate: Account registration requires date-of-birth input to verify that the user is at least 18.0 years of age before creating an account.
- Underage Restriction: Individuals under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from creating accounts, accessing public or private chats, or interacting with users on the platform.
- Immediate Account Termination: If an account is discovered to have falsified age credentials or belongs to a minor, it is permanently deleted along with all encryption keys and associated records.
5. Child Safety Standards (Zero Tolerance for CSAE / CSAM)
We enforce unwavering zero tolerance for child sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, predatory conduct, grooming, or child endangerment of any kind:
- Proactive & Reactive Measures: User reports categorized under Child Safety / CSAE Concern are treated as critical urgency and reviewed immediately.
- Enforcement & Legal Reporting: Any account attempting to share, solicit, or facilitate CSAE/CSAM is instantly banned, hardware identifiers flagged, and mandatory reports filed with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant international law enforcement agencies.
6. Data Retention & Account Deletion
You retain complete sovereignty over your profile. You may delete your account and profile data at any time directly through the app settings or by contacting our team at glblrbt@gmail.com. Upon request, user data is permanently erased.
